  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup chopped mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fried onions (for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cashews (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons raisins (optional)

For Cooking Rice:

  • 2–3 bay leaves
  • 4–5 cloves
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

    Boil water in a large pot. Add bay leaves, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, and salt. Add soaked rice and cook until 70% done. Drain and set aside.
